It’s still one of the few places where we can truly relax, and the location and the people are still superb.

At the reception desk we have large yellow soft beach towels for you to use. Also we have a basket filled with sunscreen and bug spray.  Been traveling for awhile?  If you stay with us one day or 30 days, we do your laundry for free. Free parking on property. Deigo our tour guide is a Tamarindo veteran and very honest.  Maribel the masseuse has a massage palapa at the end of the tropical garden overlooking the beach. We love people of all ages. From 1-101, and we do have a room downstairs that is wheel chair friendly. You can bring your pet on vacation here at VA. We have 5 dogs all sizes and they love kids adults and other pets. You might find one of them wants to sleep in your bed…but only if you want them to.

We have a Rancho with day beds and hammocks. The Rancho has a chill vibe. It’s where you can mingle with other guests from all over the world.  There are games and books in the Rancho. Our sound system always has different genres of music playing or you can put on your music. We have a ping pong table, frisbees, paddle boards, soccer balls or just kick back and relax in our tropical garden.

Come join us on the beach for an exquisite vacation experience!

We were a party of six Aussies traveling through parts of America for a few weeks we decided to head to Tamarindo Costa Rica for our first adventure, so happy we had booked our stay at Villa Amarilla, the best place ever to bunk down, spent a week, could of done a few months. Cindy makes everyone feel welcome, beautiful, helpful & friendly people, the location is perfect and we met some amazing people from all over the world. We are all hoping to make it back one day to Villa Amarilla, best place to stay in Tamarindo, loved all the doggies running around too. A must is the Black Stallion Ranch for a dinner adventure, it’s amazing, just ask Cindy, she’ll book it and go with you, fun times. Keep up the great work Cindy, TJ & Devyn

I stayed here in may 2015 and I’m already looking for flights to get back to this fantastic place right on the beach, where you get friends from all over the world and feeil you’re one of the family as soon as you take your first step trough the gate. I’m from Norway, travelling alone and it’s just okey. I’m for sure coming back :-)

We moved to a town an hour away from Tamarindo. We found Hotel Amarilla and go back every 4 or 5 weeks to grab some chill and waves. It’s a truly special place..!
