We had them cater our party of 11 last night and wow! Tuna and medallions of beef were to die for. We also had the shitake spring rolls which were equally delicious. My personal taste does not include key lime pie but that was before I tried their version. After all that food there still wasn't an empty plate. Do yourself a favor and try this. Mike and Wendy are true sports fanatics.....they know all the players! Great hosts, they'll make you feel at home in this laid back bar where the locals hang out. Big, open-air layout perfect for a hot game of ping pong (expert level players here often here), pool, darts. This is THE place to watch the Super Bowl, as they serve their traditional Sloppy Joes to the loyal crowd. Texas Hold'Em games on Mondays and Thursdays. Best burgers in town, too! By far the best sports bar in Tamarindo area. Mike and Wendy are true sports fanatics…..they know all the players! We are all from the Oregon Coast & couldn't pass the opportunity to fish the beautiful water off Tamirindo. What a blast! Even though the conditions were very difficult our guide "Gerald" had us "in-em" pretty much all the time. He was great...lots of fish....so much fun! Next time I'll definately be looking up Steve & Gerald again.....thanks....great stuff! Our family was in Costa Rica for a wedding.
