Casa & Casitas Linda Vista is one of Playa Grande’s very first and most affordable vacation properties with more than 18 years of business experience. There are 3 different sized, fully equipped houses to accommodate from 2 people up to a group of 16. The property is excellent for large families or groups. You may rent the houses separately or all together.
Casa Linda Vista is perfectly, centrally located on a private 3 acre hilltop set back just a few hundred yards off the northwest end of Playa Grande in a beautifully wooded setting. Linda Vista is unique as Playa Grande’s only large estate-type property. All 3 houses are located on the same 3 acre hilltop approximately 90 feet apart from each other. Playa Grande, National Park Las Baulas and the surfing breaks are a few short minutes’ walk from Casa Linda Vista.
The pristine white sand beach of Playa Ventanas and the black sand of Playa Carbon are also a very short distance away. There is a small store, and several good restaurant/bars in close proximity to the property.
Monkeys, iguanas, birds, cool breezes. Linda Vista property is private, quite and secure. It is only seconds to the beach, restaurants and a small market. The houses are affordable, fully equipped, clean and comfortable. It is truly “Pura Vida” at Casa Linda Vista.
CASA LINDA VISTA: 2 story, 2 bedroom house with panoramic ocean and mountain views that sleeps up to 7 people. Native woods and volcanic rock have been used throughout the house. There are two tiled baths and a fully equipped kitchen. Wrap-around screened windows bring in the cool breezes and give the feeling of sleeping in the treetops. Sit on the balcony and watch the sun set into the Pacific.
CASA AZUL: A charming 1 story house with 1 bedroom, bath, full kitchen, living room and deck with forest view. Sleeps 2 to 5.
CASITA LINDA VISTA: A small, private 1 story bungalow with bath, kitchenette and deck with forest view. Sleeps 2 to 3.
All 3 houses have Wi-Fi high speed internet .

I have been coming to this oasis on the pacific ocean for over 10 years. If you are looking for a getaway from the hustle and bustle of our modern world this place is for you. I have stayed at all 3 places over the years with family, friends and solo. This property provides privacy, clean accommodations and is a short walk from the beach. I am looking forward to the next 10 years. Highly recommended for almost everyone. Enjoy!

My family and I just stayed another relaxing 9 days at Casa Linda Vista in Playa Grande. This was our 5th time of returning since 2004. We are from Costa Rica and live in the city, around San Jose. We really look forward to going to Playa Grande and Casa Linda Vista to relax and get way from work and our busy lives. We have always enjoyed the beauty, tranquility and peacefulness of the property and Craig ( Kai ) and Ruth are great hosts. We stayed this time in the large house, Casa Linda Vista, because my 3 sons were with us and they really like the surfing in Playa Grande. We have also, in the past rented each of the other smaller houses, too. All 3 of Craig’s different size houses are very clean and comfortable. They all have fully equipped kitchens where we can prepare meals which we like. The large Casa Linda Vista, also has a beautiful view of Playa Grande from the balcony. When looking for an affordable great place to stay the best choice is Casa Linda Vista. You won’t be disappointed. We will be returning again this Easter Week. Highly recommend. Erick Porras .

This morning, again we woke to birdsong and monkeys in the treetops. From our openair perch on Kai’s ridge I stood and looked around at blue skies over the hills. In the background the sound of perpetually rolling surf. Our son just returned from an early session at Playa Grande, a short walk down a lovely path from the door of our comfortable casita. Our eighth day is much the same as the first. Welcomed by our very helpful and informative hosts we found Casa Azul to be clean and spacious within easy walking distance of entertaining nightspots and simple marketing. The atmosphere is unhurried and friendly. The published descriptions and reviews are accurate and recommend Kai and Ruth’s property for anyone seeking quiet comfort within easy reach of everything a vacation should be. Our son has set out breakfast. Another day of Pura Vida.
